Ahh - Spring is finally arriving! Opening Day at Fenway, flowers are pushing up from the earth, sunny days if we are really lucky, birthdays all around, and a overall sense of RENEWAL - here’s to new beginning’s.

“alpine glow” A sequence of colours seen on snow-covered mountain tops at sunset, sometimes called alpenglow or (German) alpenglüh. The true alpine glow begins when the Sun is still above the horizon. Mountain tops that are illuminated by the Sun become yellow, pink, reddish, and finally purple, …from encyclopedia.com -alpineglow
A soothing view and “my take” on Alpine Glow . .. from the hills of the Adirondack Mountains near Saranac Lake, NY - from our friends front porch. Life is beautiful, life is calm, life is a dusty glow?!

It was a new day - I awoke early to a lovely cold wet puppy nose. I opened the door and was astounded by the possibilities that a new day could bring in every sense I could think of. Here was the beginning of creating myself, TODAY - not yesterday, possibly a place to build on tomorrow. I stood in the doorway with my (already) faithful friend who constantly showed me joy each day in just being herself. Free to run, free to explore, free roam. I knew that she had joined me in my everyday life to help remember that joy IS all around. …. and so the day began.
So we stood in the doorway - taking in the beautiful morning - breath deep, enjoy it, slow down and soak it in I was telling myself. I have been thinking about the process of “releasing your worries” - knowing I need the learn some life skills in that area. Wondering how am I to get my arms around that … and the phone rang in the room behind me. Being of a certain nature I feel compelled to answer it so I left my thoughts and went over to get it. On the other end was a good friend. What a joy to reconnect - to catch up and chat for a while about life, love and what is going on. At the end of the visit I am reminding myself - that most of us need to learn to “let go” - as my dear friend Beau so elegantly put - “Learn how to fly.”
But RENEWAL awaits - Winds from the outer limits blew thru the night, torrid rain many days, then… sun, water and some fresh clean ocean air into my body, heart and mind! … we arrive at the oceans edge - and the sight is of “ghost chairs.” Waves gently fold in and out…. sunset is approaching…. A spirits dinner party at the universe edge? An invitation to join the new season? A quiet reflection? A seat to sit and contemplate from? A “vision” of peace? A time of ebb and flow for the world and certainly in my world.

Each week I will post a photo of either something that has gone on in my week, OR use a photo that someone else has sent to me. I MIGHT, very likely will, alter the image and possible show before and after… but here is the really fun part. Remember that game about one person starts a sentence and each person adds to it - well, it is going to be like that BUT, each photo will bring a new element/idea and the story will grow and be an ONGOING STORY, dictated by the random images.
My friend sent me a wonderful image today - so the story starts now (in the next posting.)
Feel free to send photos - and feel free to add to the story! There are two ways to add your part: The first is to email your image and or words and I will post them. The second is to email me that you want to add something, and I will enable your email address to be “a contributor.”
